Refund Policy
About this policy
This Refund Policy applies to the paid planning engagements offered by CloudLogic Financial Planning Co., Ltd. (Uniform Business Number 04174349, representative Huang Mei-Chen), located at No. 97, Chenggong Rd., Neihu Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan.
Because this practice charges a fee for consultations and ongoing planning support, a dedicated refund policy applies. Where a specific term below has not been confirmed by the business, it uses the standard market-consistent baseline under Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act (distance-selling 7-day withdrawal, 七日猶豫期) and is marked as proposed, pending business confirmation in our internal build record.
Eligibility
A fee is refundable where:
- the session has not yet taken place, and the cancellation notice was given at least two business days before the scheduled time; or
- the engagement was booked remotely (online or by email) and you request withdrawal in writing within the 7-day withdrawal period set out below, and no substantial part of the engagement has yet been performed.
7-day withdrawal (distance selling)
For engagements booked remotely, Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act provides a 7-day withdrawal period (七日猶豫期) from the day the booking is confirmed. You may withdraw within that period and receive a full refund, provided the engagement has not yet been substantially performed (for example, the working session has not yet taken place and no written plan has yet been delivered).
To exercise withdrawal, send a written notice to the contact details below within the 7-day period.
Non-refundable items
The following are not refundable:
- Work already started or performed. Once a working session has taken place, or a written plan has been delivered, the engagement is treated as performed with your consent and the fee is not refundable.
- Sessions cancelled with less than two business days’ notice, at the practice’s discretion, where the slot could not be re-allocated.
- No-shows. A session that is missed without notice is treated as performed and is not refundable.
Partial refunds
Where an ongoing engagement is cancelled partway through, the portion of the fee corresponding to sessions not yet held and work not yet performed is refundable on a pro-rata basis. Work already performed (sessions held, written plans delivered) is non-refundable.
Refund process
To request a refund, contact us using the details below with:
- the engagement name and date;
- the name the booking was made under;
- the reason for the request.
We will acknowledge the request within five business days and process eligible refunds within 14 business days of acknowledgement.
Refund method
Refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Where that is not possible (for example, the card or account has been closed), we will arrange an alternative method with you in writing.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling a session is not a cancellation. To reschedule, email us at least two working days before the scheduled time. There is no fee for rescheduling with adequate notice.
Deposits
Where a deposit is taken to hold a session date, the deposit is refundable under the same conditions as the fee above — in full if cancelled with at least two business days’ notice, and forfeited if cancelled with less notice or in the event of a no-show.
Exceptions
The standard 7-day withdrawal right does not apply where the engagement has been substantially performed with your consent before the withdrawal notice is received. This is the standard exception under Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act for services already rendered with the consumer’s consent.
